Lutris Libre is a modified version of Lutris that runs on the Talos II and other computers that respect GNUser freedom. Lutris by default includes may non-free games, including non-free DRMed ones distributed via Steam and other services.
As a user of a Free GNU/Linux Distro, you can manage your game library in a similar way that Windows users uses the Steam client. Lutris Libre rejects nonfree games, nonfree anti cheat software, nonfree drivers, nonfree firmware for GPUs and any other nonfree software and documentation. This makes it likely that those games does not have backdoors or DRM.
Lutris Libre can run on top of any GNU/Linux Distro on any architecture, and can download games from different external repositories. It also can be used to distribute homebrew GameCube or Wii games using libogc and VR games with the SteamVR dependency removed.
Free games do not have to be gratis. Lutris Libre makes it possible to develop free games commercially, while respecting your freedom to change the software you use. Distributors can also accept payments pay for games using GNU Taler or SEPA. Users can pay with GnuCash and without running non-free JavaScript.
If you are a game developer, you can use GNU Guix to package games for multiple architectures and in many different formats. Guix can also pack as a Debian archive and simplify the development process using "guix shell". It should be easy to add a "DOL" exporter or "GameCube Linux" kernel to Guix, or a patched version of the Dolphin Emulator that works better with the POWER9 and older PowerPC hardware. Lutris-Libre will be able to import those Guix builds.
